At this time, however, particularly as the indictment was filed, we have started a new stage of work at the tribunal. As you know, the indictment is now with the Pre-Trial Judge, who is now working on it with his team. All guarantees are in place to ensure that no further leaks will take place. Discussing credibility calls to mind the sort of work carried out by judges in general. Au nom de toute l'équipe du Bureau de la Défense je veux exprimer notre immense tristesse suite au décès du Président Cassese. Ses amis, le TSL et plus largement la Justice Pénale Internationale perdent un juriste humaniste d'une exceptionnelle qualité et compétence. Le Bureau de la Défense considère que le meilleur hommage qu'il peut rendre au Président Cassese sera de continuer a promouvoir les valeurs et standards de justice que " Nino", comme ses amis l'appelaient, a toujours défendu notamment concernant la présomption d'innocence et l'impérieuse nécessité de tenir des procès équitables.
