Moreover, fewer children are leaving school early, with a 19% decline, from 87% in 2011 to 68% in 2016. However, despite the improvements, participation of Roma children in school is still too low and the rate of early leavers is still too high. Additionally, there is still a large problem of segregation in education, with some countries separating more than 60% of Roma children from other children in education.
