Switzerland is strongly committed to both the North and the South of Sudan. During the civil war in Sudan, Switzerland helped facilitate the ceasefire agreement for the Nuba mountains, which was signed in 2002 in Bürgenstock and paved the way for the subsequent Comprehensive Peace Agreement between the North and South.

La Suisse est fortement engagée au Nord comme au Sud du Soudan. Durant la guerre civile qui a déchiré lepays, la Suisse a contribué à l’accord de cessez-le-feu pour les monts Nouba qui, après sa signature en 2002 au Bürgenstock, a ouvert la voie à l’accord de paix entre le Nord et le Sud.

Die Schweiz ist im Norden wie im Süden des Sudans stark engagiert. Während des Bürgerkriegs im Sudan half die Schweiz, das Waffenstillstandsabkommen zu den Nuba-Bergen aufzusetzen, das nach dessen Unterzeichnung 2002 auf dem Bürgenstock den Weg für das Friedensabkommen zwischen Nord und Süd ebnete.

La Svizzera è molto attiva sia nel Nord che nel Sud del Sudan. Durante la guerra civile, la Confederazione contribuì a preparare l’accordo di cessate il fuoco sui Monti Nuba che, firmato nel 2002 sul Bürgenstock, spianò la strada all’accordo di pace tra il Nord e il Sud. Da ottobre 2010, su richiesta di entrambe le parti, la Svizzera fornisce inoltre perizie tecniche e sostegno per questioni concernenti la ripartizione del patrimonio statale e dei debiti, la liquidazione dei debiti, il settore bancario e la politica monetaria.
