Nice is a beautiful baroque town with an Italian charm. It has always attracted artists. One of them is Chagall, to whom the town has dedicated a beautiful museum, after the donation of his 17 paintings about the Biblical Message.

Bellissima città barocca dal fascino italiano, Nizza ha sempre attratto gli artisti. Tra questi ricordiamo Chagall, a cui la città ha dedicato un bellissimo museo a seguito della donazione delle sue 17 grandi tele del Messaggio Biblico. Progettato secondo i desideri del pittore da un collaboratore di Le Corbusier, questo museo presenta linee sobrie in cui è valorizzata l'opera dell'artista. Il Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea è un'altra meta artistica privilegiata a Nizza. In questo imponente edificio in marmo grigio sono esposte, tra le altre, opere di Yves Klein, di Niki de St. Phalle o di Andy Warhol.

Nice, een barok stad met Italiaanse charme, heeft altijd al kunstenaars aangetrokken. Een van hen is Chagall, aan wie de stad een prachtig museum heeft gewijd, naar aanleiding van een gift van 17 grote werken van de Bijbelse Boodschap. Dit museum, dat naar de wensen van de schilder door een medewerker van Le Corbusier werd ontworpen, biedt sobere lijnen waar het werk van de schilder tussenuit springt. Het Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain is een andere belangrijke kunstplek in Nice. In dit imposante grijs marmeren gebouw worden onder andere werken van Yves Klein, Niki de St Phalle en Andy Warhol tentoongesteld.
