ACT for Performance a été mandaté par FEWS-Net and Chemonics pour fournir un appui logistique et administratif à l’organisation de quatre ateliers concernant la sécurité alimentaire dans quatre provinces de la RDC : à Goma, Maniema, Mbuji-Mayi, Bunia et Kisangani.
Workshops were held in Kisangani, Bunia, Goma and Mbuji Mayi. There were a total of 40 participants from provincial institutions, private sector, and governmental organizations participating in this workshop.

ACT for Performance a été mandaté par le Gouvernement de la RDC pour élaborer le manuel d’exécution du projet PRC-GAP et le manuel de gestion de la formation pour les huit centres de formation du pays qui dispensent la majeure partie de la formation prévue par le projet.
ACT for Performance was asked to elaborate the Project Execution Manual of the Public Sector Capacity Strengthening Program PRC-GAP. In addition to the execution manual, the team reviewed the existing financial administration and procurement manuals of the project and developed the training management manual for the eight training centres in the country, which deliver the major share of the training under the project.

ACT for Performance finalise une étude produite en l’espace de quatre mois en RDC sur la chaîne de valeur et les prix de transfert dans l’activité minière pour le Ministère des Finances. Le projet inclus le développement de formation pour les agents de la Direction générale des Recettes Administratives, Judiciaires, Domaniales et de Participations DGRAD pour l’amélioration de l’assiette taxable dans le secteur minier.
ACT for Performance concluded a four-month study for Democratic Republic of Congo’s Ministry of Finance on value-chain and transfer pricing in the mining sector. The project included the development of training on value chains and transfer pricing for implicated Revenue agents for the purpose of increasing the mining sector’s tax-base.

Il a entre autre travaillé comme Conseiller en Agro-industrie du Ministre de l’Agriculture, Pêche et Élevage de la République Démocratique du Congo et comme Coordonnateur National du Projet sur la mise en valeur des Déchets par la production du biogaz en RDC, financé par le PNUD, le FIDA et le STAREC.
Mr. Ronald Staring holds a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration obtained in 1984 from the University of Applied Sciences, Business Administration and Financial Management in Enschede, the Netherlands. Fluent in English and German, he has worked over the last twenty-five years as a Financial Manager, Controller and Consultant for several international organizations. He has an extensive experience in the financial management of projects, in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Il a une vaste expérience en gestion financière des projets en Afrique (Ghana, Sénégal, RDC, Rwanda, Tanzanie, Kenya et Soudan), en Amérique latine (Colombie, Bolivie et Guatemala) et en Asie (Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonésie et Sri Lanka).
Mr. Gerard Lommerse is a expert in Business Development. He holds a Masters in Educational Sciences from the University of Amsterdam. Mr. Lommerse has extensive experience in mutual cooperation, alliance development and stakeholder liaising as related to the development of business initiatives. He has led projects in which he brought together Dutch universities, vocational training institutes and companies to work with partners in Africa, for instance in Ethiopia, aiming youth employment through entrepreneurial training, social skills development, and access to credit. Mr. Lommerse established the social enterprise Alice O, education in a global perspective, which specializes in communication with young people on global and social issues. He also founded S3C solar, a social venture to promote solar energy solutions for schools and homes in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently, he works with the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Science to improve the diary supply chain in Ethiopia.
