Pluraj el ni estas samtempe membroj de la Sennacieca Asocio Tutmonda (SAT), kiu organizas maldekstre orientitajn esperantistojn de diversaj tendencoj, respektive de la Libera Esperanto-Asocio por germanlingvaj teritorioj (LEA/G), kiu estas kontrakte ligita kun ĝi.

The Maldekstra Forumo [= Left Forum] is a small Esperanto group in Berlin, one of several diverse groups that are amalgamated within the Esperanto-Liga Berlin. At the same time, some of us are members of the Sennacieca Asocio Tutmonda (SAT) [= World Anational Association], which joins esperantists of a politically leftist orientation, though of various tendencies, or of the Free Esperanto-League for German-Speaking Territories (LEA/G), which is contractually linked to it. Our conception of Esperanto is that it should be more than just the linguistic medium of a worldwide club and the common interest that holds it together (which is not to say that we disdain applications of Esperanto such as travelling and meeting people or attending conferences). Esperanto in our view is an endeavor in the area of cultural politics that seeks radical and egalitarian reform of international communication, and at the same time a living experiment with a highly cosmopolitan approach to culture. We would like to make it known to a wider public.

Das Maldekstra Forumo [= Linkes Forum] ist eine kleine Esperanto-Gruppe in Berlin, eine von mehreren sehr verschiedenen, die in der Esperanto-Liga Berlin zusammenarbeiten. Einige von uns sind gleichzeitig Mitglieder des Sennacieca Asocio Tutmonda (SAT) [= Nationenunabhängiger Weltbund], der linkspolitisch orientierte Esperantisten verschiedener Tendenz zusammenfaßt, bzw. des mit diesem verbundenen Freien Esperanto-Bundes für deutschsprachige Gebiete (LEA/G). Esperanto soll nach unserer Vorstellung mehr als nur das sprachliche Medium und das verbindende Gemeinsame eines weltweiten Klubs sein (was aber nicht heißt, daß wir konkrete Sprachanwendungen wie Menschenkennenlernen auf Reisen und Esperanto-Treffen verschmähen). Esperanto ist für uns zum einen eine kulturpolitische Bestrebung, die internationale Kommunikation radikal und egalitär zu reformieren, und zum anderen das lebende Experiment mit einem kosmopolitischen Kulturansatz. Wir wollen eine breitere Öffentlichkeit damit bekannt machen.
