De DATeCH internationale conferentie in Poznan (Polen) brengt onderzoekers en praktijkmensen samen die op zoek zijn naar innovatieve methodes voor de creatie, transformatie en exploitatie van historische documenten in digitale vorm. De conferentie wil interdisciplinaire projecten stimuleren, en deelnemers samenbrengen die op volgende terreinen actief zijn: tekstdigitalisering en OCR, digital humanities, beeld- en documentanalyse, digitale bibliotheken en bibliotheekwetenschappen, toegepaste computerlinguistiek, crowdsourcing en tenslotte interfaces of interactie tussen mens en computer. Het goedkope inschrijvingstarief voor vroege vogels geldt tot 15 augustus.
