Die Rallye besteht aus 306 km Wettkampfstrecke auf 18 Etappen. Am Freitag gehen die Konkurrenten die Weinberge der Mosel sowie die neue Etappe von Ollmuth ein wenig südlich von Trier an. Der Samstag ist mit knapp 150 km auf neun Etappen der längste Tag der Rallye, dabei zwei Läufe über die Panzerplatte Lang mit 40,8 km.

The rally features 306km of competitive action over 18 stages. Friday sees competitors tackle the vineyards of Mosel as well as the new Ollmuth stage, just south of Trier. Saturday is the longest day of the rally with just under 150km over nine stages including two runs over Panzerplatte Lang at 40.8km. Four stages on Sunday are split between the Mosel vineyards and the Sauertal test in the Eifel hills, which acts as the Power Stage for the second and final run.

There are some new features for this year’s Rallye Deutschland and they include the Saturday sprint runs across the Panzerplatte and the Bosenbergroads of Saarland, featuring for the first time since 2011. Drivers will hit the Eifel region on Friday and Saturday will combine stages on the Panzerplatte with more country roads. Mosel will be the setting for Sunday’s racing, with the Dhrontal stage as the Power Stage.
