The project is a part of a larger research plan „Divorce and Changes in Reproductive Strategies“. The main purpose of the research is to map changes of social and biological strategies caused by divorce. Within IVRIS will be realized a part dedicated to changes of biological reproductive strategies. The question here is how a divorce affects fertility trajectories for women, as well as men. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods will be used. In the first case we talk about the secondary analysis of data provided by ČSÚ and data from available surveys. In the other case, we talk about the gathering of biographies and half-standardized interviews.

Jde mi o analýzu vrstvení či spolupůsobení řady diskurzů, v rámci kterých se utváří etnokulturní identity na hranicích mezi „češstvím“ a „ne-češstvím“ a o analýzu reprezentací toho, kdo je zahrnut do představované komunity českého národa.

I am interested in the analysis of stratification or concurrence of a number of discourses, in terms of which ethnocultural identities on the edge between „Czech national feeling“ and „non-Czech national feeling“ and analysis of representation of who is included in the represented community of the Czech nation, are created. And in this connection, I research what the ideas, cognitive categories that are offered as identificational framework for defining of Czech national feeling, such as categories of origin, belonging to national community, differences, etc., look like. It means which frames of distribution of differences and sameness between individual subjects offer various kinds of social statements. I am also interested in places of thematization of differences from the ethnically defined „Czech national feeling“, especially in the form of cognitive categories, by means of which Czech cultural policy, medial sphere, education policy, etc. „speak“ about differences.
