Mphil. MSc. Economist, Art Historian, born in Zenica, (ex-YU). She studied Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Art History at the University of Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts. During her studies she was research study assistant at the Institute for Organisation and Procurement and Institute for Institutional and Heterodox Economics (WU-Vienna). From 2004 to 2009 she worked as a research associate in the field of health economy. Currently she works on her PhD thesis under the title »'Krise' als Denkfigur und Ihre Manifestation im städtischen Raum :: Ein Blick auf die künstlerische, ökonomische und urbane Praxis«, for which she has received a scholarship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences (DOC-team) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (Institute for Art and Architecture). She teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Applied Arts Vienna, Vienna University of Technology and WU-Vienna. In the winter term 2014 she was an invited guest researcher at the Research Institute of the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis. She curated a series of exhibitions including »The Common Which No Longer Exists« (Künstlerhaus, 2012), »Retouch the Past_Shaping the Presence« (Bosnian National Theater, 2013). She edited the catalogues “The Common Which No Longer Exists” and “Ich erkenne Dich auf den ersten Blick” as well as the online ‘lettre’ “Artistic Transformation of the City Space. Stimulation of the Sensual Sphere by Using, Collecting and Reflecting Urban Structure”. She has published i.a. in Zivot umjetnosti, Word & Image, Tagungsband des Verbands der österreichischen Kunsthistorikerinnen und Kunsthistoriker, Oslobodjenje. With her colleagues Szilvia Kovacs and Carina Lesky, in 2013 and 2015 she conceived and organised the conferences “Art in Public Space. An Interdisciplinary Cooperation” and "Re-Thinking the Concept of Density". She gave talks at numerous conferences,including Tuned City, NECS 2014, Sound Signature and Recomposing the City. At the moment she is working on the publication „Re-thinking the Concept of Density“ which will be realeased by Sternberg Press, Berlin begin of 2017. The book will be published as volume of the publication series of Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Apart from it she is working on the exhibition "Crisis as Ideology?" which will be shown in the Kunstraum Niederösterreich
