Il a débuté sa carrière professionnelle en 1993 puis s'est ensuite formé au métier d'économiste d'entreprise HES. Il a par la suite occupé divers postes dans le domaine de la logistique et a participé au développement d'un nouveau système de planification d'entreprise (ERP).

Heinz Kaufmann started his professional career in 1993 and continued his education in business administration HKG. He held various positions in the area of logistics and was jointly responsible for the introduction of a new ERP system. In the year 2000, he switched to the area of controlling and served the SAP module controlling as a module official, including the generation of monthly statements. In 2008, he took over total responsibility of controlling and financial bookkeeping for Bombardier Switzerland. He was significantly involved in the introduction of the Shared Service concept for Bombardier Transportation (Switzerland) Ltd. In 2012, Heinz Kaufmann took over leadership of the accounting department for Bombardier Transportation Financial Services S.a.r.l.

Heinz Kaufmann startete seine berufliche Laufbahn 1993 und bildete sich zum Betriebsökonomen HKG weiter. Anschliessend hatte er verschiedene Funktionen im Bereich Logistik inne und war mitverantwortlich für die Einführung eines neuen ERP-Systems. Im Jahre 2000 wechselte er in den Bereich Controlling und betreute als Modulverantwortlicher das SAP Modul Controlling inklusive der Erstellung der Monatsabschlüsse. In 2008 übernahm er die Gesamtverantwortung für das Controlling und die Finanzbuchhaltung von Bombardier Schweiz. Anschliessend war er massgeblich an der Einführung des Shared Service Konzeptes für die Bombardier Transportation (Switzerland) AG beteiligt. In 2012 übernahm Heinz Kaufmann zusätzlich die Leitung des Rechnungswesens für die Bombardier Transportation Financial Services S.a.r.l..
