Mae gan Ynys Môn le anrhydeddus yn yr hanes hwn. Cafodd yr ‘Anglesey Association for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck’ ei sefydlu gan Frances Williams a’i gŵr, y Parchedig James Williams, ficer Llanfair-yng-Nghornwy, ar ôl iddi weld trychineb pacedlong
Anglesey has an honourable place in this history. The ‘Anglesey Association for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck’ was established by Frances Williams and her husband the Rev.   Llonyddwch
Gallwch ei wneud ar eich pen eich hunan neu gyda chwmni a byddwch yn siŵr o weld rhywbeth diddorol. Mae’n well archwilio’r pyllau pan fydd y môr ar drai gan y gwelwch fwy o greaduriaid anghyffredin. Ond gwyliwch rhag cael eich dal gan y llanw.
Escape our world and explore the strange world of the rockpool. This is a fantastic way to while away the hours whether on your own or in a family group and you’ll always find something of interest. Low tide is the best time to explore as you’ll see more unusual creatures but remember to keep an eye on tide times. You can even join guided tours if you want expert advice.
  Beicio - Arfordir y Gog...
Ar y cyfan mae Llwybr Arfordir Cymru a’r Rhwydwaith Beicio Cenedlaethol yn rhannu’r un llwybr ar draws Sir Ddinbych a Chonwy, gan gysylltu prif drefi gogledd Cymru (Prestatyn, Y Rhyl, Bae Colwyn a Llandudno) a thref gaerog Conwy.
The Wales Coast Path and National Cycle Network mostly share the same route across Denbighshire and Conwy, linking the major north Wales resorts of Prestatyn, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno and the walled castle town of Conwy. However, please note that the WCP and NCN follow different routes in a few places and, where this occurs, cyclists should follow the NCN rather than WCP logos. This is a very popular route with extensive views out to sea, along the coast, and inland to the Clwydian Hills, the Vale of Clwyd and the northern slopes of Snowdonia National Park.
  Hanes diwyddiannol - Do...
Caeodd yr iard ym 1926, gan ddod â thlodi a chaledi mawr yn ei sgil, ond ym 1930, sefydlodd yr Awyrlu ganolfan awyrennau môr yn y dref a fu’n rhan hollbwysig o ymgyrchoedd amddiffyn confoi yr Ail Ryfel Byd maes o law, gydag awyrennau môr Sutherland.
Closure eventually came in 1926, plunging the community into hardship, but in 1930 the RAF established a flying-boat base in the town which undertook important convoy protection operations during the Second World War, using Sunderland flying boats. This facility closed in 1957 and the yard has since seen a number of uses, including merchant shipbuilding and, in 1979, an Irish ferry terminal, still operated today by Irish Ferries. But the days when Pembroke Dock was one of the foremost shipyards of the Royal Navy are long gone.
  Pierau a Phromenadau
Dychmygwch, fodd bynnag, pe gallech chi gerdded taith sy’n fwy o dro hamddenol? Un y gellid ei mwynhau ar agos unrhyw dywydd? Lle gall y teulu oll anturio allan? Efallai fod gan Lwybr Arfordir Cymru'r union beth ar eich cyfer, ar hyd ei bierau a’i bromenadau.
When our hibernation instinct kicks in it’s easy to succumb to the warm and cosy. Major hikes across open fields and along exposed cliff tops in the darker months do not have immense appeal to most. But, imagine if you could find a walk which is more of a casual stroll? One that is enjoyable in almost every weather? Where all the family can head out for an adventure? The Wales Coast Path may just have the perfect solution for you along its piers and promenades.
  Sir Gaerfyrddin
Arfordir amrywiol iawn yw un Bae Caerfyrddin. Mae llawer o wahanol gynefinoedd i'w gweld yno, gan gynnwys corsydd dwr croyw, morfeydd (yn cynnwys y morfa heli di-dor mwyaf yng Nghymru), twyni tywod. Fforestydd o goed pinwydd a chomins arfordirol sy'n cynnal dewis gwych o fflora a ffawna.
Map. Carmarthen Bay is a coastline of great contrasts and takes in a range of habitats including freshwater marshes, salt marshes (including the largest continuous salt marsh in Wales), sandy dunes, pine forests and coastal commons all supporting a spectacular array of flora and fauna

Roedd Porth Neigwl yn hunllefus, gyda diffyg arwyddion ar y llwybr swyddogol ar gyfer osgoi’r traeth a chael ein dychryn gan wartheg gwyllt, sef rhywbeth a’n gorfododd i gerdded llwybr hirach ar hyd y ffordd.
Llŷn Peninsula was our final end of our adventure.  Hell’s Mouth was a nightmare, with the lack of direction signs on the official route avoiding the beach and being very frightened by a herd of galloping cows which made us walk a long detour along the road. We returned a few days later, when tide was low and took the beach option.  Those cows were terrible!

A chithau bron iawn â dod i’r casgliad nad oes ganddi ddim byd mwy i’w gynnig, mae’n eich arwain rownd y gornel nesaf at olygfa ogoneddus arall, gan wneud ichi sylweddoli gwirionedd: mae’r harddwch rydych wedi breuddwydio amdano’n bodoli go iawn yma yng Nghymru.
Just as you reach a point where you think she has nothing left to give, she leads you around the next corner onto yet another jaw dropping scene, making you realise: the beauty you have only ever dreamt of actually exists here in Wales.”
  Christian Nock
Gan fy mod yn cerdded yn groes i’r cloc, Llwybr Arfordir Cymru oedd un o’r llwybrau mawr cyntaf imi ei gyrraedd. A hithau’n dymor gwyliau’r haf (ie, gwlyb!), buan iawn y cefais fy nghroesawu gan y twristiaid a’r trigolion lleol fel ei gilydd.
As my challenge is being undertaken in an anti-clockwise fashion, the Wales Coast Path was one of the first major paths I reached. Being the summer holiday season (yes, wet!), I was soon welcomed by the tourists and locals alike and on occasion was invited into homes, pubs and camp sites to share food and a pint or three! One area that I specifically felt a strong connection with is Newborough Forest, Newborough Beach and Llanddwyn Island on the Isle of Anglesey. This will be the special place that one day I will definitely be returning to and perhaps secretly wish it was really my back garden! I feel proud to have walked this new path in its infancy and to have met with nothing but kindness and generosity along its route. The people of Wales are truly some of Britain’s finest!
