Records will be listed as part of the Archive Service's cataloguing programme and in accordance with the Archive Service's current cataloguing practice. Depositors are entitled to receive a copy of the catalogue of their documents but the copyright of the catalogue remains with the Council. A copy of the catalogue may be provided to other persons or bodies considered appropriate by the County Archivist.

5.2 Donors and depositors are requested to complete a donation / deposit form and receive Ceredigion Archives’ Conditions of Deposit. A copy of the donation / deposit form signed by the donor / depositor and counter-signed by Archives staff is created and retained by CA. A further copy is created as a receipt and acts as the donor / depositors’ evidence of donation / deposit. This receipt, in conjunction with the Conditions of Deposit, is legally binding.

The Archives Service reserves the right to copy the records and to retain the copies as the property of the Authority after the removal of the records. The full catalogue, prepared by project archivist Jennie Hill, is now on-line. This important collection contains Mr. Prosser's personal papers, his local history research and a number of slides. He acquired some papers of W. Ronald Williams, solicitor, Argoed Hall, Tregaron; these are mostly title deeds of local properties. The collection also contains business records of John Williams, Rhydyronnen, Tregaron and a quantity of material relating to Capel Bwlchgwynt (Wesleyan Methodist), Tregaron.
