Deux comités appartenant à la structure de gestion du Centre de Vancouver participent au processus d'approbation des projets : il s'agit du Comité consultatif sur la recherche (CCR) et du Conseil d'administration.
Two committees in the Vancouver Centre management structure have a role in the project approval decision: the Research Consultative Committee (RCC) and the Management Board. Representatives from the federal, provincial and municipal governments, research community, the private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGO) participate in both committees (see Appendix 1 for membership). The RCC has the mandate to review research projects defined under the six-year plan and to examine new research proposals. Once the projects are reviewed by the RCC, the funding approval of the Management Board is sought. This task is part of the Board's broad responsibilities of overseeing the Centre's activities.
