Konuşmaların sonunda öğrenciler Türkiye – AB ilişkilerini konu olan araştırma konularını sundu. Öğrenci gruplarının sunduğu toplam 14 araştırma arasında en iyi üç araştırma ödüllendirildi. Şükrü Erinç Özer, Taylan Sonsaat ve Emin Özgün Türkbay en iyi sunum ödülünü alırken, Yasemin Danacı, Ferahşan Yaprak ve Tuğçe Yıldız ikincilik ödülü, Dilara Durmaz, Duygu Durmaz ve Pelin Gümüş ise üçüncülük ödülü kazandı.

Yazıcı said “When you look at the democracy process in EU, you can see that the decisions are taken by the authorities or institutions elected by general ballots. This is not the case in Turkey. AB uyum sürecine ve uzmanlık gerektiren müktesebat çeviri çalışmalarına farkındalığı arttırmak amacıyla yapılan yarışmada gençler, 110 öğrenciyi geçerek başarılı oldu. 28 üniversiteden 72’si İngilizce, 27’si Almanca, 11’i Fransızcadan yarışmaya katılan öğrencilerden başarılı olanlar nisan ayında Brüksel’deki AB kurumlarını ziyaret edecek.

IUE students outran 110 other contestants and succeeded at the competition which aims to raise awareness regarding translation studies that play an important role during Turkey’s European Union accession. Successful students from 28 universities, who attended the competition held in three languages (72 in English, 27 in German, and 11 in French), will be visiting EU institutions based in Brussels in April.
