Avui feia un dia molt bo de sol i poc vent. Només s'ha tapat al final de la tarda i s'ha aixecat el vent de nou, per muntar la tenda m'he quedat congelat. Però el fet de que em costi tant fer quilòmetres ve donat, per un costat perquè tot i que la superfície és força plana i dura, està plena de zones amb neu nova portada pel vent, i això fa frenar constantment el trineu; i per altra banda perquè estic ja molt cansat, em noto molt just d'energia, i em costa fer esforços i poder tirar més ràpid.

The day is not too windy, sunny and nice. The skies became grey by the end of the afternoon and the wind came out again, so at the moment of putting the tent up, I got frozen. But the fact that it's hard to do kilometers, it's only because of the terrain surface, which is flat and hard, and there are plenty of snow packed areas brought by the wind, which makes the sledge go slower, and also because I am tired, and I'm not feeling full of energy, it's hard to make efforts to speed things up.

Hoy hacía un día muy bueno de sol y poco viento. Sólo se ha tapado al final de la tarde y se ha levantado el viento de nuevo, para montar la tienda me he quedado congelado. Pero el hecho que me cueste tanto hacer kilómetros viene dado, por un lado porque aunque la superficie es bastante plana y dura, está llena de zonas con nieve nueva traída por el viento, lo que hace frenar constantemente el trineo, y por otra parte porque estoy ya muy cansado, me siento muy justo de energía, y me cuesta hacer esfuerzos y poder avanzar más rápido.
