is part of the Stockholm City Theatre. The Soppteater, or Soup Theatre, gets its name because as people watch the play, they are served soup for lunch. Klara Soppteater shows classical theatre and contemporary plays as well as science theatre. In 1989 Helge Skoog, the artistic director of the Soppteater, was invited by the Swedish Council for Planning and Co-ordination of Research to take part in the opening of Sweden's Popular Science Week. The Soppteater has since produced five science theatre shows featuring real scientists on stage. The plays have toured extensively, and one of them, The Gene Scene, has also been televised in Sweden.

En 1989, Helge Skoog, directeur artistique du Soppteater, a été invité par le Conseil suédois de planification et de coordination de la recherche à participer à l'ouverture de la semaine populaire de la science en Suède. Depuis, le Soppteater a produit cinq spectacles de théâtre scientifique où de véritables scientifiques tenaient un rôle. Les pièces ont été longtemps jouées en tournée, et l'une d'elles, The Gene Scene, a également été diffusée par la télévision suédoise.

Im Jahr 1989 wurde Helge Skoog, der künstlerische Leiter des Soppteaters, vom schwedischen Planungs- und Koordinationsrat für Forschungsfragen zur Eröffnung der schwedischen "Woche der Populärwissenschaft" eingeladen. Seither hat das Soppteater fünf Wissenschaftstheaterproduktionen auf die Bühne gebracht, bei denen wirkliche Wissenschaftler auftraten. In einer langen Tournee wurden die Stücke einem breiten Publikum vorgeführt, und eines davon, "Die Genszene", wurde sogar vom schwedischen Fernsehen ausgestrahlt.
