The Rosetta Refuge lies above the resort of San Martino di Castrozza, on the western edge of the Pale plateau, and is the starting point for some of the most popular excursions within the Group both in summer and winter. The refuge was first built in 1889 then rebuilt in 1952 and dedicated to Giovanni Pedrotti, chairman of SAT from 1925 to 1928.

Die Schutzhütte Torrani liegt kurz unterhalb des Gipfels des majestätischen Monte Civetta, eingebettet in den Pian de la Tenda, und ist die höchstgelegene Schutzhütte des Bezirks und ein bekannter Stützpunkt für die Kletterer, die den Monte Civetta über den Normalweg oder den Klettersteig Tissi besteigen oder von der Coldài Hütte zur Schutzhütte Vazzolèr und zurück wandern.

Il Rifugio Rosetta si trova proprio sopra l’abitato di San Martino di Castrozza, sul bordo occidentale dell’altopiano delle Pale, e costituisce un punto di partenza per le più classiche escursioni del Gruppo, sia estive che invernali. Il rifugio fu inizialmente costruito nel 1889, ma venne ricostruito nel 1952 ed intitolato a Giovanni Pedrotti, presidente della SAT dal 1925 al 1928. E’ punto tappa dell’Alta Via n. 2.
