CRG has been an absolute protagonist of Juniors with the very young British Alex Quinn, who is being more and more competitive. In this occasion, the Briton secured the second absolute time in qualifying and won two heats on Saturday on the CRG KT2 chassis. A trivial technical problem in the third heat prevented Quinn from awarding CRG with another triple victory as he was forced to give up after leading the initial laps. Due to the missed result in the third heat, Quinn was relegated to the ninth place of the standings after the qualifying stages. In the Juniors, the Spaniard Kilian Meyer was 19th absolute, while the Israeli Ido Cohen was 24th. Both CRG color bearers already earned their pass to the final stages of Sunday, while the Swede David Rehme will have to run the second chance race.
