The assembly factory of the future might be populated with holographic images that inform about the consecutive processes of labor. Assembly Praxis is a „survivor kit” to train workers to meet the demands of industry 4.0 by practicing how to piece together a simplified model of an engine with the use of Microsoft HoloLens. The head-mounted device projects an animated image flow in front of the eyes mapped to the kit and its container boxes. The footage provides digital information that enriches the physical objects with related data. HoloLens is a pioneer technology produced by Microsoft that forms the next step in the evolution of wearables after Kinect that is able to synch 3D digital content with the real environment and place it in the field of view of the agent.
