Se dice que la peste, que asola toda Europa, no ha llegado a un pueblo perdido en los bosques, quizá debido a la presencia de un nigromante capaz de resucitar a los muertos con sus malignos poderes. Un joven monje es el encargado de guiar a un grupo de mercenarios encargados de averiguar qué hay de cierto en lo que se cuenta. Las fuerzas del bien y del mal (¿o sólo hombres y mujeres?) enfrentadas en una época hostil.

His legendary figure inspired classics such as The Black Cat (1934) or Night of the Demon (1957), from silent movies to the Hammer and beyond, although maybe the most fascinating aspect is how his occult philosophy and magical rituals have been echoed in the work of filmmakers such as Albin Grau, Kenneth Anger, Orson Welles, Jodorowsky. The display is accompanied by the publication of this book coordinated by Jesús Palacios.

When the time came she decided to study Fine Art in Bilbao which gave her the chance to study in Florence, a city she found fascinating. Staunch supporter of the world of comics and horror films, the young artist was able to fuse the profound humanism of the Renaissance capital the world of contemporary images.

Cursó los estudios medios con normalidad, garabateando todos sus cuadernos de mates, física y biología, algo que, por así decirlo, la mantuvo en continuo contacto con el arte. Llegada la edad decidió cursar la carrera de Bellas Artes en Bilbao. Gracias a ello tuvo la oportunidad de estudiar en Florencia, ciudad por la que quedó fascinada. Gran acérrima del mundo del cómic y del cine de terror, la joven artista supo fusionar el profundo humanismo de la capital del renacimiento con el plano de la imagen contemporánea.

For as long as she can remember, she has painted, taken photos, created collages, restored but above all drawn: endlessly and practically obsessively. She currently lives in Pasaia, Gipuzkoa, after graduating in Fine Art from the University of the Basque Country and having researched and lived in loads of places. She claims that drawing is a major art, not just a transition tool. She combines inks with felt tip pens, papers, dry leaves, wood... Her work is meticulous and elaborate, full of her sense of humour. She tries to make an impact on her audience using outline, shape and image. Following her previous exhibition entitled Allá: Ciudades y gentes, this new edition will introduce us to some peculiar, fun and slightly sinister beings. Divine Creatures comprises a book of beasts inspired by fashion and cinema and whisks us away to a parallel world with animals, beasts and not so beastly beasts. You are invited to enjoy the characters included in the book Divine Creatures that appear in this edition of the San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival.

Desde que tiene uso de razón, pinta, fotografía, crea collages, restaura, pero, sobre todo sobre todo, dibuja. Mucho, muchísimo. Casi una obsesión. Actualmente reside en Pasaia, Gipuzkoa, después de haberse licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad del País Vasco y haber investigado y vivido en un montón de sitios. Reivindica el dibujo como arte mayor, no sólo como herramienta de transición. Combina tintas con rotuladores, papeles, hojas secas, madera. Su trabajo es minucioso y preciosista, lleno de sentido del humor. Intenta impactar al espectador desde el trazo, la línea, la imagen. En esta edición, tras su anterior exposición con Allá: Ciudades y gentes, nos lleva a conocer a unos seres peculiares, divertidos y un poco siniestros. En Divinas conforma un bestiario que se inspira en la moda y el cine y nos lleva a conocer un mundo paralelo con animales, bestias y no tan bestias. Así, podemos disfrutar de los personajes incluidos en el libro Divinas, que ve la luz en la presente edición de la Semana de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de Donostia.
