The proportion of women is 37.7%. The average age of women in the sector is 35.3 years, compared with 37.8 years for men. Two thirds of women have completed vocational education; with men, the higher qualifications dominate (university or university of applied sciences), plus vocational courses with additional training. 55.1% of women work in the customer service and sales sector; men predominate in the areas of production, IT and research and development. The average distance between home and the workplace is 20 kilometres. The majority of employees work 40 hours per week, with 5 weeks holiday per year.
