Christophe Waksmann has more than twenty show recordings to his credit, notably for Gilles Verièpe’s company, the Équilibres company and the collective AOC. He has danced in several DCA productions as well as supporting Philippe Decouflé with his video experiments.
Christophe’s approach combines art and technology, paving the way for a new category of artist: “dancer/cameraman.” A computer expert from a young age, he spent eight years at the Centre chorégraphique Les Planches in Grenoble, where he developed his multiple talents. After expanding his versatility with the Skalen company and Christiane Blaise’s company, Christophe completed his video training at the Université Grenoble-III in the late 1980s.

Hailing from the visual arts world, Jimmy Lakatos has followed an atypical career path that has led him to what he calls “video set design” – his specialty. In Montreal, he pioneered the use of video in shows and public places. A longtime collaborator of directors Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, Jimmy is one of the cofounders of Artificiel, a Montreal-based multidisciplinary digital creation group whose works have been seen at festivals and in museums throughout Europe, Latin America and North America. He has also designed multimedia installations for museum exhibits as well as video projections for a number of shows, televised galas and commemorative events. Several companies from the North American cultural scene have called upon his services as a multimedia designer.
