Step by step Jean Diene fought, first for himself, then for others. In the suburbs of Dakar he will show, with the support of others as members of the International Movement ATD Fourth World, the importance of the experience of people living in the neighborhood. Es el retrato de un hombre que se enfrentó a la vida difícil , el desarraigo, dejando a su pueblo y la dura vida de pobreza en la ciudad. Poco a poco, Jean Diene luchó, primero por sí mismo, y luego para los demás. En los suburbios de Dakar mostrará, con el apoyo de otros como miembros del Movimiento Internacional ATD Cuarto Mundo, la importancia de la experiencia de las personas que viven en el barrio. El enlace entre unos se alimenta más de algunos regalos, es la gente que hay que tomar en cuenta. Que este vínculo debe ser construido no solo entre personas de la misma comunidad para avanzar, resistir contra la pobreza extrema, sino también con las autoridades para pensar cómo vivir juntos en la misma dignidad.
