Le Conseil consultatif technique a été constitué en 2010 d’un commun accord parmi les participants d’une sélection de pays faisant figure d’exemple en matière de statistiques du tourisme. Il a été entériné officiellement par le Comité Statistiques et CST s’étant tenu peu de temps après.

The TAB was constituted in 2010 in joint agreement among the participants from selected, exemplary countries in terms of tourism statistics. It was officially embraced by the Committee for Statistics and TSA held shortly after. The TAB meets on an annual basis, back-to-back with the Committee on Statistics and TSA.

La Junta de Asesoramiento Técnico se creó en 2010 mediante un acuerdo entre los participantes de un grupo selecto de países ejemplares en términos de estadísticas de turismo. El Comité de Estadísticas y CST, reunido poco después, lo aprobó formalmente. La Junta se reúne anualmente, inmediatamente antes o después de la reunión del Comité de Estadísticas y CST.
