In Switzerland there is no organisation that provides courses for maritime training that satisfy the requirements of the STCW Convention. This is why the SMNO does not issue Certificates of Competency (CoC) or Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) in accordance with the “2010 Manila Amendments”.

Il n’existe en Suisse aucun institut proposant, dans le secteur de la navigation maritime, des cours ou des formations répondant aux exigences de la Convention STCW. C’est pourquoi l’OSNM ne délivre ni Certificates of Competency (CoC) ni Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) au sens de la Convention STCW 2010 (amendements de Manille 2010). Les CoC (pour tous les navires) et les CoP (pour les navires-citernes) obtenus à l’étranger sont reconnus pour le service à bord de navires battant pavillon suisse. (sur demande un endorsement sera établit)

In der Schweiz gibt es keine Anbieter von Kursen oder maritimen Ausbildungen, welche die Anforderungen des STCW Übereinkommens erfüllen. Das SSA stellt aus diesem Grund keine eigenen Certificates of Competency (CoC) oder Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) gemäss den Erweiterungen des STCW Übereinkommens von 2010 (“2010 Manila Amendments”) aus. Im Ausland erworbene Certificates of Competency (CoC) für den Einsatz auf allen Frachtschiffen und Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) für den Einsatz auf Tankschiffen werden für den Dienst auf Seeschiffen unter Schweizer Flagge anerkannt (auf Antrag wird ein Endorsement ausgestellt).

In Svizzera non vi sono offerte di corsi o formazioni marittime che soddisfano i criteri della Convenzione STCW. Per tale ragione l'USNM non rilascia Certificates of Competency (CoC) o Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) secondo gli ampliamenti della Convenzione STCW entrati in vigore nel 2010 («2010 Manila Amendments»). I CoC (per tutte le navi) e i CoP (per petrolieri) ottenuti all'estero vengono riconosciuti ai fini dell'impiego su navi battenti bandiera svizzera (un Endorsement sarà rilaciato su domanda).
