In 2008 Brunei presented its “Vision Brunei 2035” which charts a course for economic growth. By 2035 the country wants to be amongst the top ten nations in terms of per capita income, and sees a diversified domestic economy as the way to achieve this.

En 2008, le Brunei a lancé le programme «Vision 2035» et amorcé sa croissance. Il entend faire partie d’ici à 2035 des dix premiers pays au classement du revenu par habitant. Pour y parvenir, le pays prévoit de diversifier son économie nationale. Il envisage par ailleurs d’augmenter ses dépenses dans les domaines de l’éducation, du développement technologique et des infrastructures.

Brunei stellte im Jahr 2008 die «Vision Brunei 2035» vor und hat damit einen Wachstumskurs eingeschlagen. Bis 2035 will das Land zur Liga der zehn Länder mit dem höchsten Pro-Kopf Einkommen gehören. Eine diversifizierte heimische Wirtschaft weist den Weg dorthin. Unter anderem sind höhere Ausgaben für Bildung, technologische Entwicklung und Infrastruktur geplant.

Nel 2008, il Brunei ha presentato la «Visione Brunei 2035» manifestando la sua intenzione di puntare alla crescita. Entro il 2035 il Paese vuole infatti diventare uno dei dieci Paesi con il reddito pro capite più elevato attraverso la diversificazione dell’economia nazionale. Fra l’altro sono previsti maggiori investimenti in favore della formazione, dello sviluppo tecnologico e delle infrastrutture.
