The meeting agenda included work-group activities aiming to develop innovative e-services. The moderator Ms. Krasimira Kaneva, Regional Manager at the GLB PMU, randomly divided meeting participants in five groups and explained to the audience the new service development steps. Representatives of all groups drew a note with the type of innovative services they had to identify with the following target groups: children and school goers; business; Roma people; children with deviant (aggressive) behavior; disabled people.

Dora Gabe District Library designed a project proposal for a new e-service “Entrepreneur’s Information Desk” which was approved by the Glob@l Libraries – Bulgaria Program in July 2012. Library project partners include Dobrich Municipality and Dobrich Employment Office Directorate. The EU integration of the Bulgarian business is already a fact. While Bulgarian entrepreneurs can access the opportunities provided by the EU market, their involvement in this market relates to a series of challenges which they should be aware of and prepared for. Many entrepreneurial spirited people do not know where to start from or how to go on in the labyrinth of administrative requirements in order to develop their business. Administrative obstacles and lack of clear information about many business start-up activities and procedures cause inconveniences and take too much time. The citizens of Dobrich who want to develop their own business will be able to utilize the new library service in order to be better informed and more active. Dobrich Municipality opened an Entrepreneur’s Information Desk and the electronic product was provided to it by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency. The municipality provided gratuitously this product to the library so that more citizens can access the service.

Children and school goers: Service – “A Day in the Fairy Tale World”, e-education. The service is targeted at school children up to 4th grade and aims to develop their creative skills. Assisted by online information, fairy tale reenactment ideas and scenarios will be developed. Preparation activities will be distributed among partners – mainly schools and the municipality – and provided for in a written agreement. The reenactments will be recorded and distributed among partners and interested parties – schools, chitalishte, parents, etc.

Народно читалище "Фар 1930" в Паволче откри лятната си работа с деца на 2.07.2012 г. от 10.30 ч. в салона на новата сграда. Присъстваха 29 деца и ученици и 7 родители. Мария Божковска изнесе презентация с целите, графика и очакваните резултати от предвидените секции за заниманията на децата: "Роден край", "Приятели на здравето", "Графичен дизайн", "Млад готвач", "Творческа работилница", "Бродерия" и "Лятна читалня".

Far 1930 Public Chitalishte in Pavolche opened its summertime activities with children on 2 July 2012, at 10.30, in the hall of the new building. Participants included 29 children and school goers and 7 parents. Maria Bozhkovska delivered a presentation on the objectives, schedule and expected results from the envisaged activities with children: “Homeland”, “Friends of Health”, “Graphic Design”, “Young Cook”, “Artistic Workshop”, “Needlework”, and “Summer Reading”. Every day children will be able to visit the library and expand their knowledge through various activities and topics with lecturers from partner organizations and the librarians Penka Pavlova and Maria Bozhkovska.

The 2013 Fun Summer Reading campaign was launched at a special event held in Greenwich Book Center in Sofia. The initiative organized for a third consecutive year by Az-deteto.bg children’s online portal and Sofia City Library brought together many young friends of books. Guests of the official opening included school children from several schools in Sofia (31st High School for Foreign Languages and Management, 6th Primary School and Deutsche Schule), teachers and parents.

Хилендарски - 1870" - гр. Балчик. В уебинара участваха и представители на Звеното за управление на програмата. Target libraries from Dobrich district took part in the online conference as follows: Dora Gabe District Library as a host of the event; the library at Svetlina 1941 Public Chitalishte in the town of General Toshevo; the library at Yordan Yovkov 1896 Public Chitalishte in the village of Krasen; the library at Saglasie 1890 Public Chitalishte in the town of Kavarna; the library at Cyril and Methodius 1900 Public Chitalishte in the village of F. Dyankovo; the library at D. Donchev the Doctor 1893 Public Chitalishte in the town of Tervel; the library at P. Hilendarski 1870 Public Chitalishte in the town of Balchik. Webinar participants also included GLB Program Management Unit representatives. The DL invited to the health lecture eighth-graders from Vasil Levski High School of Finance and Management. The first webinar was attended by 70 participants from the district aged 14–59 years, the majority of whom were young people.
