Born in the generation of 87, San Sebastian's own Eva Conde grew up in a world full of stories and fables, which deeply marked her adolescence and reminded her of this world which is parallel to ordinary life. She spent high school sketching on all her Maths, Physics and Biology books, something which, to put no finer point on it, kept her constantly in touch with art. When the time came she decided to study Fine Art in Bilbao which gave her the chance to study in Florence, a city she found fascinating. Staunch supporter of the world of comics and horror films, the young artist was able to fuse the profound humanism of the Renaissance capital the world of contemporary images.

Nacida en la generación del 87, la donostiarra Eva Conde creció en un entorno lleno de cuentos y de fábulas, cosa que marcó profundamente su adolescencia y le hizo recordar ese mundo paralelo a la vida ordinaria. Cursó los estudios medios con normalidad, garabateando todos sus cuadernos de mates, física y biología, algo que, por así decirlo, la mantuvo en continuo contacto con el arte. Llegada la edad decidió cursar la carrera de Bellas Artes en Bilbao. Gracias a ello tuvo la oportunidad de estudiar en Florencia, ciudad por la que quedó fascinada. Gran acérrima del mundo del cómic y del cine de terror, la joven artista supo fusionar el profundo humanismo de la capital del renacimiento con el plano de la imagen contemporánea.
