Krill along the British Columbia coast range up to 25 mm (1") in length, but average 16 mm (5/8") in length. Krill undergo a daily 'diurnal' cycle, where they spend the daylight hours in the twilight depths of the ocean (~100 m or 300'), out of sight of their predators (mainly finfish and baleen whales). As the daylight decreases, the krill rise to the surface to feed in the dark on phytoplankton. In the morning, as the sky gets brighter, the krill will return to the twilight zone. A clear day may push the krill as deep as 150 m (450'); on a cloudy day, the krill may be at depths of only 60 m (180'). Krill are not distributed evenly within a body of water; they form characteristic 'clouds' or patches of high biomass in some areas, whereas other areas may be devoid of krill.

La distribution de brochures et de pochettes de presse à des salons nautiques et à des personnes franchissant la frontière en voiture ont donné certains résultats : au 25 novembre 2005, 1 061 demandes d'adhésion avaient été reçues et 779 membres étaient inscrits [ 16 ].

Dopo il mio primo anno di college, ho lasciato Tucson per studiare Comunicazione Globale a Barcellona, in Spagna. Ed è stato lì che ho imparato tante cose su di me, ho conosciuto culture diverse e soprattutto la moda. Ho viaggiato in tutta Europa e sono stata 6 mesi in Grecia dove ho mangiato cibo incredibile, ho incontrato le persone più interessanti, ed ho vissuto delle esperienze meravigliose. Al ritorno negli Stati Uniti mi sono laureata all’ UA, mi sono trasferita a Los Angeles e adesso lavoro come buyer di prodotti di bellezza e profumi per i retailer di lusso.

Outreach activities included NEXUS Marine briefings to local marina and yacht club owners in the pilot project zone. A news release was issued to the local media. Press kits were distributed at boat shows. NEXUS Marine information was posted on CBP and CBSA Web sites. Articles were published in boating magazines and local newspapers, and NEXUS Marine pamphlets were distributed to NEXUS Highway members who crossed the border by car in the Windsor/Detroit area. It is a little rock, located a few meters off the Bay of Sorrento and a few minutes by boat from the port of Sorrento. This island is part of the Protected Marine Area of Punta Campanella. The distance from the coast and the constant presence of dominant currents of the Gulf of Naples favor the establishment and development of many marine species. Due to its special flora and fauna, it has been placed within the Zone "A" of the Marine Park, and it is needed a special permission to access the area.

E' poco più di uno scoglio, situato qualche centiano di metri al largo della baia di Massa Lubrense e a pochi minuti di navigazione dal porto di Sorrento. Quest'isolotto rientra nell'Area Marina Protetta di Punta Campanella. La distanza dalla costa e la presenza costante di correnti dominanti del golfo di Napoli favoriscono l'insediamento e lo sviluppo di molte specie marine. Per la sua particolare fauna e flora rientra nella Zona "A" del Parco Marino, e per accedervi servono speciali autorizzazioni.
