The festival takes place a week after the Barcelona edition and artists such as Antony and the Johnsons, Interpol, FKA Twigs, Death Cab for Cutie, Patti Smith, The National, Kendrick Lamar, Haim, Slowdive, Suede, The Flaming Lips, Rufus Wainwright, Wilco, Beach House, Yo La Tengo, Blur, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, James Blake, PJ Harvey, Sigur Rós o Daniel Johnston have already played on the stages of Parque da Cidade.

NOS Primavera Sound, homòleg portuguès de Primavera Sound, se celebra a la ciutat de Porto des del 2012 i s'ha consolidat com una proposta que ha anat creixent fins a confirmar l'expansió de l'esperit Primavera més enllà de les nostres fronteres.
