In 1992, Hauenštejn Castle and Chateau was acquired by the nearby municipality of Krásný Les. At that time, however, the West Bohemian peer of the famous Neo-Gothic chateau in South Bohemian Hluboká, as the chateau was commonly denoted, was in a desolate condition.

En 1992, le château fort et le château de Hauenštejn dépendait du village de Krasny Les. Mais c´était au moment où le Hluboká de l'Ouest (comme on le surnommait également) était dans un état pitoyable. En 2000, ce château complètement dévasté, avec sa toiture effondrée et ses murs en ruines, fut racheté par un nouveau propriétaire, M. Pavel Palacký, qui commença immédiatement les travaux de restauration du site.

Im Jahre 1992 fielen Burg und Schloss Hauenstein der nahe gelegenen Gemeinde Krásný Les zu. Da befand sich das „westböhmische Hluboká“, wie das Schloss auch genannt wird, bereits in einem erbärmlichen Zustand. Im Jahre 2000 übernahm das devastierte Schloss mit eingefallenen Dächern und statisch angegriffenem Mauerwerk ein neuer Besitzer - Herr Pavel Palacký, der augenblicklich die Rettung der Schlossanlage einleitete.

En 1992 el castillo y el alcázar Hauenštejn llegó a la propiedad del pueblo Krásný Les. Sin embargo, el “Hluboká de la Bohemia del Oeste”, como se le llamaba entonces, estaba en una condición muy triste. En 2000, el desmoronado castillo con techos rotos y caídos y con defectos estáticos, pasó a manos de un nuevo propietario, Pavel Palacký, que inmediatamente empezó los trabajos de salvamento.

Nel 1992, quando fu inserito tra i beni del comune di Krásný Les, il castello e palazzo di Hauenštejn (detto anche “la Hluboká della Boemia occidentale” in riferimento al magnifico palazzo della Boemia meridionale) versava già in uno stato di degrado. Nel 2000, ormai in pessime condizioni, con problemi statici alle opere murarie e i tetti crollati, fu acquistato da Pavel Palacký, il quale avviò immediatamente i lavori di salvaguardia del sito.

В 1992 году крепость и замок Гауэнштейн перешли в собственность близлежащей деревни Красный Лес. Однако, к тому времени западночешская Глубока (как иногда называли замок) находилась в плачевном состоянии. В 2000 году полностью разрушенный замок, с обвалившейся крышей и нарушенной статикой кладки, перешел к новому владельцу Павлу Палацкому, который немедленно начал восстановительные работы.
