Le 3 novembre, une délégation de 30 responsables et militants de syndicats maritimes et des transports canadiens ont rencontré le consul général du Costa Rica à Ottawa. La délégation était composée de représentants du comité de coordination maritime canadien de l’ITF, de la Canadian Maritime and Supply Chain Coalition, de l’ILWU, de l’IDC, du SIU, du BCFMWU, de l’ILA, de la section locale 333 de Grain Workers Local et de BC Building Trades.

November traf eine Delegation von 30 führenden und aktiven Mitgliedern von kanadischen Schifffahrts- und Verkehrsgewerkschaften in Ottawa (Kanada) mit dem costa-ricanischen Generalkonsul zusammen. Der Delegation gehörten Vertreter/innen des kanadischen ITF-Koordinierungsausschusses Maritime Industrien, der Canadian Maritime and Supply Chain Coalition sowie von ILWU, IDC, SIU, BCFMWU, ILA, der lokalen Geschäftsstelle 333 der Gewerkschaft der Beschäftigten im Getreidehandel und von BC Building Trades an.

El 3 de noviembre, una delegación de 30 dirigentes y activistas de organizaciones sindicales canadienses marítimas y de transporte se reunieron en Ottawa con el cónsul general de Costa Rica. La delegación estaba formada por representantes del Comité canadiense de coordinación marítima de la ITF, de la Coalición Marítima y de Cadenas de Suministro de Canadá, de los sindicatos ILWU, IDC, SIU, BCFMWU, ILA, Grain Workers, Local 333 y BC Building Trades.

No dia 3 de novembro, a delegação de 30 líderes e ativistas dos sindicatos marítimos e de transportes do Canadá reuniu-se com o consul geral do Canadá, em Ottawa. A delegação incluiu representantes do Comitê de Coordenação Marítima da ITF do Canadá, da Coalisão Marítima de Cadeia de Abastecimento do Canadá, de ILWU, IDC, SIU, BCFMWU, ILA, da Local 33 dos Trabalhadores em Grãos e da BC Ofícios de Construção.

SINTRAJAP's breakthrough came with the help of widespread support from the ITF and its affiliates, and with the backing of workers throughout Costa Rica. Several affiliates wrote to the Costa Rican president or embassies to condemn the violent arrests of SINTRAJAP members at the terminals in October and to urge the government to enter into dialogue with the union over the future of the ports. They included the ILA in the USA, the FNV in the Netherlands, the National Federation of Indian Railwaymen, the Estonian Seamen’s Independent Union and the SIU, Canada.

3 ноября делегация из 30 лидеров и активистов канадских морских и транспортных профсоюзов встретилась в Оттаве с генеральным консулом Коста-Рики. В составе делегации были представители Морского координационного комитета МФТ, канадской Коалиции морского судоходства и цепей поставок, профсоюзов ILWU, IDC, SIU, BCFMWU, ILA, местного отделения 333 профсоюза работников зерновых терминалов и строителей Британской Колумбии.
