Demonstracije i direktne akcije na prvi su pogled spolno neutralni konteksti, u samoj reprezentaciji medjutim dogadja se to da - kao i u jeziku - se muskost poklapa s opcenitoscu, dok su zene i zenskost takoreci dodaci: kao sto se u jeziku zenski nastavci (demonstrant-ica) dodaju ili kao sto se na pozornici muskome pjevacu ili moderatoru u pozadini dodaje zensko tijelo.

Cheerleaders play a role, especially in American society, in affirming bodily gender. The contrast to the football players, the emphasis on secondary gender characteristics are an affirmation of the gender difference. In this sense, they are integrated in the context of sports events. Demonstrations and direct actions are seemingly gender-neutral contexts, but in the representation it is so - as in language - that maleness coincides with generality, women and femaleness are only supplemental, so to speak: just as the linguistic feminine suffix is added in German (Demonstrant = demonstrator/male demonstrator, Demonstrantin = female demonstrator) or the male singer or host on a stage is supplemented by female bodies in the background. Pink & Silver and Radical Cheerleading place female attributes in the foreground, thus disturbing the "neutral" demonstration context.

Cheerleaders jouent un rôle dans l'affirmation de la sexualité corporelle spécialement dans la société américaine. Le contraste avec les joueurs de rugby et l'accent mis dans les caractéristiques secondaires du sexe constituent une affirmation des différences de sexe ; ces caractéristiques sont intégrés dans le contexte d'événements sportifs. Les manifestations et actions directes semblent par contre etre sexuellement " neutres ". Cependant, a l'instar du langage et des représentations, la masculinité coincide avec la généralité alors que la féminité et la femme constituent, pour ainsi dire, seulement un supplément : de la meme maniere qu'il n'y a qu'a ajouter un supplément linguistique a la langue (" Demonstrant-in " = " manifestant-e ") ou encore, ou au chanteur masculin ou maître de stage s'ajoutent en arriere plan les corps féminins ; Pink&Silver et le cheerleading radical mettent les attributs féminins en avant-plan, déstabilisant ainsi le contexte " neutre " des manifestations.

Cheerleaders spielen besonders in der amerikanischen Gesellschaft eine Rolle in der Bestätigung der körperlichen Geschlechtlichkeit. Der Kontrast zu den Rugby-Spielern, die Betonung der sekundären Geschlechtsmerkmale sind eine Bestätigung der Geschlechterunterschiede. Sie sind in diesem Zusammenhang in den Kontext von Sportveranstaltungen eingebunden. Demonstrationen und direkte Aktionen sind scheinbar geschlechtsneutrale Kontexte, in der Repräsentation aber so, dass - wie in der Sprache - das männliche mit dem Allgemeinen zusammenfällt, Frauen und Weiblichkeit sozusagen nur Ergänzungen sind: so wie in der Sprache die weibliche Endung (Demonstrant-in) hinzugefügt wird oder auf der Bühne der männliche Sänger oder Moderator durch weibliche Körper im Hintergrund ergänzt wird. Pink & Silver und Radical Cheerleading stellen die weiblichen Attribute in den Vordergrund, stören also den "neutralen" Demonstrationskontext.
