Im Gegensatz zu den bisher üblichen Rinnen im Außenbereich von Stationen wird das Wasser in der neuen Station von LEITNER ropeways nun über das Innere der Konstruktion in einen Schacht geleitet. Dadurch bleibt die Station frei von Wasser oder Eis und auch das – oftmals aus geologischen Gründen nicht erlaubte – unkontrollierte Abrinnen kann somit verhindert werden.

La perfetta intesa tra design e funzionalità della copertura si vede bene anche nel nuovo sistema di canalizzazione delle acque: invece di disporre di canali di scolo all’esterno della struttura, come era usuale sino ad oggi, nel nuovo progetto di LEITNER ropeways l’acqua viene raccolta in pozzetti e condutture all’interno della struttura stessa. Questo accorgimento permette di avere stazioni libere da acqua o ghiaccio e di evitare gli sgocciolamenti incontrollati, che spesso sono da evitare per motivi geologici.
