La cajas de recocido con tapadera hermética es apta para la cementación, el recocido y el temple neutro, la nitruración y aplicaciones de boro con polvo. Para ello se alimenta la caja con granulado de cementación o carbón de recocido, con polvo de boro o nitruración junto a la carga.

La cassetta viene sigillata e quando viene riscaldata, l’atmosfera che ne risulta all’interno fornisce, a seconda del prodotto usato, una reazione superficiale del pezzo trattato. Per la cementazione o processi similari la cassetta deve essere rimossa ad alta temperatura aperta e il carico immerso in un fluido. Per la ricottura, la cassetta deve rimanere nel forno fino a che la temperatura è scesa.
