We opened our offices in Plaza de las Cortes in Madrid in 2008. Previously, we had been located on calle Barquillo, and before that, in a tiny office near Plaza de Castilla when Tuenti just starting up in 2006 with Zaryn Dentzel at the helm. As the company grew, so did our needs for a larger team and space. When we first moved to Plaza de las Cortes, we started with one floor, but eventually expanded to two. Later, in 2011, we opened our Barcelona office in Plaza Catalunya. At the same time, the Madrid team was growing so much that we opened yet another office on Alcalá 21. It has been in this building where the Sales, Marketing, Finance, User Support, Legal and Privacy, and Communications departments have been working for the last two years.
For the last two years our Madrid office has been distributed between two buildings and among several floors which has created a certain level of inconvenience that will soon be corrected. Over the next few days, we will be taking the next step in our short history, and
our Madrid teams will be moving to a single building, into a new 3,000m2 space dedicated to
talent and innovation.
At our new location, in the historic headquarters of Telefónica on Gran Vía, Tuenti will occupy two floors so that the synergy among different teams will be assured once again. Both floors have been remodeled in order to reflect Tuenti’s style and make employees feel just as comfortable as they have in all of the different spaces we’ve occupied in the past. Tuenti has always been characterized for having flexible spaces that are located in the center of the city, open-plan, with spaces for working in teams as well as break and recreation areas, creating an environment that is conducive to creative development and innovation.
With this new milestone, Tuenti in Madrid will once again be together after two years of working separately in two different buildings. Once everything is ready, we will show you our new Tuenti office. Here is a preview of the remodeling of what will be our new workspace right on Madrid’s Gran Vía.

No ano de 2008 inauguramos nosso escritório na Plaza de las Cortes de Madrid. Antes, estivemos na Calle Barquillo e, ainda antes disso, num pequeno escritório perto da Plaza de Castilla, quando Tuenti nasceu em 2008 com Zaryn Dentzel à frente. À medida que a companhia ia crescendo, também cresceram as necessidades da equipe e de espaço. Na Plaza de las Cortes, primeiro tivemos um piso e, depois, passamos a ter dois. Mais tarde, no ano de 2011, abrimos nosso escritório em Barcelona, na Plaza Catalunya, e em Madrid tivemos que buscar um espaço adicional, que finalmente foi o escritório da Calle Alcalá 21, onde desde esse momento trabalharam as equipes de vendas, marketing, finanças, suporte ao usuário, jurídico e privacidade e comunicação.
Portanto, em Tuenti contamos com una configuração do espaço distribuída em vários edifícios e pisos, com as consequentes ineficiências que agora vamos corrigir. Nos próximos dias, daremos um novo passo na nossa jovem história, e nossas equipes de Madrid passarão a estar no mesmo edifício, um novo espaço de mais de 3.000 metros quadrados, dedicados ao talento e à inovação.
No nosso novo escritório, localizado no edifício que tem sido a sede histórica da Telefônia na Gran Vía de Madrid, a Tuenti terá dois pisos, de maneira que as sinergias de trabalho entre as diferentes equipes da companhia estão garantidas. Ambos os pisos foram reformados para continuar com a linha e o estilo da Tuenti e conseguir que os trabalhadores se sintam tão cômodos como em todos os escritórios por onde temos passado. A Tuenti sempre se caracterizou por apostar em espaços flexíveis, bem localizados e no centro da cidade, sem escritórios fechados, com zonas para o trabalho em equipe e também com zonas de descanso e entretenimento, criando o melhor ambiente para o desenvolvimento criativo e a inovação.
