Quelque 53 000 élèves en provenance de plus de 400 établissements d'enseignement secondaire professionnel devraient participer et bénéficier de 240 heures d'expérience professionnelle rémunérée. Tous disposeront d'un conseiller personnel et d'un formateur, qui les aideront à tirer le meilleur parti de leur stage. «Une étude préliminaire a démontré que les élèves étaient demandeurs de ce genre de stages», a expliqué Emiliya Valchovska, coordinatrice du programme au ministère de l'éducation. «Les équipes ont été constituées, les enseignants choisis. Nous sélectionnons à présent les élèves participants.»
Im Zuge des vom ESF kofinanzierten Programms „Schüler- und Studierendenpraktika“ bieten mehr als 1000 Arbeitgebebende Schülerinnen und Schülern sowie Studierenden Praktikumsplätze an. Es wird erwartet, dass rund 53 000 Schülerinnen und Schüler von mehr als 400 Berufsschulen an diesem Programm teilnehmen werden, das ihnen 240 Stunden bezahlte Arbeitserfahrung bieten wird. Once, the mausoleum in the end of the park was standing face to face with the palace of the pre-communist Bulgarian kingdom. Now the palace is a gallery which now has a broad view onto the beautiful park and seems to have forgotten how from the terrace of the mausoleum the totalitarian majesties were waving their hands to the freezing pupils organised for a manifestation in the always rainy May - either to mark the Labour Day on May 1st or the Day of Bulgarian Alphabet and Culture (May 24). I have personal memories from the time. All of them unpleasant. And most of all the feeling of cold and no right at all of a choice not to go.

Since that time it was completed with the efforts of its first employees, of numerous BSPB members, of Poda Internship students from many countries, and of different donors. The books are on various themes, but mainly of scientific, popular and reference character. Together with the presence of the BSPB staff in the centre, these books can provide answer to almost every question our visitors need. The library is open for everybody, but unlikely the libraries with subscription, it does not allow the books to be taken outside the Conservation Centre.

"Заедно в час" отбелязват, че преждевременното напускане на образователната система е сред най-сериозните проблеми в българското образование. Статистиките сочат, че през учебната 2015/2016 г. над 21 хил. ученици са отпаднали от училище.
Teach for Bulgaria have noted that early school leaving is among the most serious problems in Bulgarian education. Statistics show that over the school year 2015/2016, over 21,000 students dropped out of school. At the micro level, this significantly reduces the chances of adolescents for successful realization in life, and at a macro level it affects the economy and society in the state. This makes the "Summer Start Academy" a move in the right direction and an initiative to use as example in regard to integration and development of the young Bulgarian society in need of support.

Група млади хора — ученици и студенти, учредяват Сдружение Зелени Балкани — София през 1992 г. Те организират подписка срещу лошото управление на Зоопaрк София, в резултат на която ръководството е сменено.
A group of young people – high school and university students found Green Balkans – Sofia Society in 1992. They initiated a petition against the inappropriate management of the Sofia Zoo, as a result of which the management was changed. Another campaign followed – against the use of poison against wolves, which causes poisoning of many species of birds and other animals. After a month and a half long protests the poison use was banned. This was the second successful campaign of the Society.
