Switzerland supports the International Criminal Court, which is furthering significant progress in the fight against impunity, in the promotion of and compliance with humanitarian law and human rights. Switzerland also supports other international criminal tribunals appointed for a limited period of time to prosecute crimes in specific regions (ad hoc tribunals).

Les tribunaux pénaux internationaux poursuivent des individus auxquels il est reproché d’avoir commis des crimes internationaux comme le génocide, les crimes contre l'humanité et les crimes de guerre. La Suisse appuie la Cour pénale internationale, qui permet une avancée majeure dans la lutte contre l’impunité, la promotion et le respect du droit humanitaire et des droits de l’homme. Elle soutient également d'autres tribunaux pénaux internationaux chargés de poursuivre les crimes commis dans une région particulière pendant une période définie (tribunaux ad hoc).

Die Internationalen Strafgerichtshöfe verfolgen Einzelpersonen, denen schwere internationale Verbrechen vorgeworfen werden, darunter Völkermord, Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit und Kriegsverbrechen. Die Schweiz unterstützt den Internationalen Strafgerichtshof und betrachtet seine Errichtung als wesentlichen Fortschritt im Kampf gegen die Straflosigkeit sowie für die Weiterverbreitung und Achtung des humanitären Völkerrechts und der Menschenrechte. Sie unterstützt auch andere internationale Strafgerichte, welche Verbrechen verfolgen, die während eines bestimmten Zeitraums in einem bestimmten Gebiet begangen wurden (Ad-hoc-Gerichte).

I tribunali penali internazionali perseguono singole persone accusate di avere commesso crimini internazionali, come genocidio, crimini contro l’umanità e crimini di guerra.
